Avnet's global distributor of electronic components products and solutions element14 and Bourns, Inc. have joined forces to launch a new global partnership to provide a more comprehensive range of advanced magnetic solutions to meet the growing needs of customers to develop innovative embedded solutions , and then promote breakthroughs in applications such as electric vehicle design, high-power battery charging, renewable energy, energy storage, Internet of Things, 5G mobile networks, and industrial infrastructure. This continued growth in market demand has further cemented the long-term strategic partnership between element14 and Bourns.

With over 50 years of expertise in magnetic components, Bourns offers a wide variety of standardized and fully customized magnetic assemblies. These advanced magnetic components address critical power application needs such as power conversion, isolation, EMC compliance, signal integrity, higher power density and more efficient thermal management.

element14 offers Bourns a range of AECQ-20 compliant industrial and consumer grade products from stock, including:

• The SM91527L / SM91519L BMS signal transformers can be used with the NXP MC33771C model series and the ADI LTC6804/681x model series. The SM91527L / SM91519L BMS signal transformers operate up to 1500 VDC and have enhanced isolation between master and slave devices as required by IEC 62477-1, IEC 60664-1 and IEC 62368-1 standards, while also being UL listed and compliant with UL62368- 1 standard.

• SRP4020TA series automotive-grade SMD high-current shielded power inductors adopt shielded structure and carbonyl powder core design, and meet AEC-Q200 standards.

• The SM91502ALA BMS signal transformer can be used with the ADI LTC6804-1/681X models, NXP MC33771/33772 models, and Texas Instruments models BQ79616. This single-channel transformer has a built-in integrated choke, features such as automatic first-pin termination and functional isolation, and is AEC-Q200 qualified.

• The SRP1265WA / SRP1038WA series of automotive-grade high-current shielded power inductors are designed with a shielded structure to achieve low magnetic field radiation. These inductors feature broadside terminals for increased mechanical strength and alloy powder cores for high saturation current transmission. Both series are AEC-Q200 qualified with high vibration resistance (15G typical, 30G peak) and a wider operating temperature range.

• PAD00x-T764 Industrial Push-Pull Isolation Transformers are small and thin, designed in compliance with IEC 62368 standard. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, it can be used in applications such as isolated RS-485/RS-232 power supplies, industrial automation, AC motor drives, smart metering, and solar inverters.
