Murata has partnered with Freescale Semiconductor to provide a Murata wireless module kit that interfaces with the Freescale i.MX 6SoloX SABRE reference platform, providing a complete Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection environment for building world-class Internet connectivity products.
These wireless kits provide Wi-Fi and Bluetooth development capabilities to the SABER (Rapid Engineering Smart Application Blueprint) board for smart devices, introducing developers to multi-core processing, low power consumption, and leading multimedia and graphics applications on i.MX Program 6SoloX series application processor.
The Murata Wireless Kit and Freescale SABRE board use a low-cost, feature-rich development platform that simplifies product design, enabling developers to use most of the processor's major features and corresponding software support. Murata modules are designed to enable developers to minimize development time and effort to enable connectivity. Murata Wireless Kit has world-class quality Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, driver software for the Freescale i.MX 6 SABER reference platform, can be evaluated without hardware modification, and both Linux and Android OS are supported.
Applications include smart devices, infotainment systems, medical systems (non-implantable), enterprise-level intelligent control and data systems.
