Microchip has announced that the BMW Group will continue to use Microchip's Intelligent Network Interface Controller (INIC) to expand the popularity of MOST technology in its in-vehicle infotainment network. The company says that using MOST technology can also reduce weight and make it easier to comply with environmental regulations.
