Maxim's MAXREFDES37 IO-Link servo drive reference design provides 5V power, four PWM outputs, and four digital inputs to control up to four 5V servo motors.
IO-Link provides the ability to replace pneumatic actuators and their compressed air lines. By adding level shifting, digital inputs allow interfacing with binary position or status sensors. The design includes onboard standard 3-pin headers for quick connection to off-the-shelf 5V servo motors.
MAXREFDES37 is equipped with HiTec HS-53 servo motor. The push-in junction box allows easy connection to 5V digital inputs, power, ground, and access to all four PWM channels. The on-board rugged M12-4 male connector allows standard connections to any compatible IO-Link master.
