Honeywell's SE Series and XE Series miniature sealed basic switches are designed to accurately and reliably indicate the location of critical applications such as aircraft and defense systems. The switch is also suitable for other commercial and industrial applications that require a degree of environmental sealing. The SE series switches include an SM basic switch. XE series switches include smaller SX series basic switches.
Thanks to the miniature package, the SE series switches have passed UL and CSA certification. XE series switches have passed UL certification and conform to MIL-PRF-8805 standard. To provide design flexibility, the device has a wide operating temperature range of -53C to + 105C and offers high temperature options up to 149C.
These components benefit from silver contacts for controlling duty cycle circuits or gold contacts for controlling logic level circuits. Pin plungers or auxiliary rods further expand the capabilities of the SE and XE series switches. Electrical connection options include solder posts, pre-wired leads with MIL-grade leads, or custom connections to reduce installation time.
